Right I'm not completely sure if im just sad or depressed because i would go to someone about it but i have a very judgemental family && friends arent any better =/ They probably all think i was over reacting

I've looked up the the difference between them && i experience about 70-80% of the depression symptoms && sadness eventually comes to an end but sadness can last quite a while =/

Help Please What Do I Do???

Well, if you think it might help, why WOULDN'T you try it? That's the thought that got me into therapy. And it's been one of the best things for me.
Sad or depressed is kind of like labeling and I'm not sure if it's helpful. "Well if you're sad you don't need therapy and if you're depressed you do." You can go to therapy if you're either or neither.
I know it's hard when everyone says your crazy(oops, I'm sorry, OVER REACTING). But really, they're not the ones that have to live with you're sadness. You are. This is one big thing I learned in therapy: Just because someone invalidates your feeling(says you're over-reacting in this case) DOESN'T MEAN IT GOES AWAY! This looks good on paper, but feelings just don't work this way. They must be processed, talked about, though about, felt, done something about if necessary, and THEN they pass.
So just try it. If you feel it's not working for you, quit. Or find another therapist. Not all therapists are created equal. Some are good and some not so good. And even a good one may not be a good fit for you. So look around and trust yourself.

I Think I Have Mild Depression....?
I dont exactly have the perfect life, infact far from it and i am going through GCSE's to which i feel like im struggling with. I always have to be there for my friends but ive learnt if i tell them somethings wrong with me they seem to shrug it off.

Also recently one of my best friends ever seems to be takin over my life, she is coping everything i do and the way i do it, i dont want to loose her as a mate she is the closest person to me but it makes me feel worse that i cant be myself cuz it makes me look like im coping her.
Also that she && another friend have to have all the attention so for instance if im talking to another guy they come and take over.

So I have no-one to talk to I feel like my mom never believes me with stuff and well recently ive just changed. Ive looked mild depression up for quite a while like the symptoms and stuff. I have taken many tests and each one has said mild depression and nothing else.

What Do I Do My Mom Would Never Believe Me Trust ME!!!

Drink lots of milk and eat bananas and turkey. They all contain lots of tryptophan which is a natural amino acid that is converted to serotonin in your body. Serotonin is a chemical in your brain that regulates mood and relaxtion. If you raise your serotonin levels, you will be in a better mood and more relaxed. Depression is caused by lower serotonin levels. Drugs like Prozac are prescribed to elevate serotonin levels. You can do it naturally by eating more of the above foods. Oh yeah, get new friends...

You have got a bit of depression
ok all you need to do is just talk to someone i dont know who but u need to talk to someone think of someone you could talk to but to get rid of depression you need to talk to someone!!
