Depends how talkative the third is, but just to be safe I would say three can keep a secret if all of them are dead.

No. If two of them are dead then there are not three people keeping the secret. There is only ONE person keeping the secret and the other two are DEAD.
Come on, were you really confused about this? Is it 'true'??

It simply means that you do not tell what you wish to keep secret. No matter how much someone means to you, do not tell secrets unless you want others to know. Period. It is that simple.
