I don't have many guy friends. The ones I have are gay or social outcasts. What do guys like to talk about with girls who are aquaintaces? How should I approach a guy in the classroom? Im not shy, I just need help as I find myself arguing with guys or being made fun of by them.

Do you like sports, most of us have teams we are die hards for. If you have a sport you watch then throw it out there.
I have a friend I would never sleep with but we seem to go to the movies when were not dating anyone. It's our thing I guess, then she comes over has a beer and it's like PEACE!
So really there's no one way, the tough thing is if one of you is attracted to the other and it's a one sided thing. Then it can't work. But if he's not digging on you and your not crushing on him thats usually a recipie for sucess when it comes to being "Just Friends."
Talk about what you like, if it works cool if not move one.

Ever since I was little I've had guy friends. I didn't care about the "they have cooties" thing. So for me talking to guys is pretty easy. You could start up a conversation about practically anything: A restaurant you ate at that you really liked, a TV show you watch (something they would watch too), music you listen too, something funny that happened to you or someone you know, maybe a sport or video game you play if any, a movie you saw...you know, normal things. Guys like talking to people who are funny and interesting so if you tell a story try to make it shorter and play it up A LITTLE if you think it might be long and boring for them (many guys I know have short attention spans lol). And remember to be yourself. Say what you mean and mean what you say.

Most guys are flattered to have a gal talk to them-just say 'hi' and some small talk , zero in on common interests. Church is a fine place to meet nice people. Classroom is a bit different because it's so structured. If you're not lucky enough to sit near him, make sure you smile whenever you notice him looking your way. Being made fun of could mean they like you, but you'll have to be the judge of that. Be honest and friendly and patient!

I never could be bothered talking to guys in class when I was at school - most school-aged boys are quite immature compared with girls.
Join interest groups outside of school such as drama workshops etc. You'll have more luck making friends with guys who are one or two years older than you and on your wave length.
P.S. Playing yourself down at school and being flirty will do nothing for you in the end. Be yourself!

Two words: BE NATURAL! Okay, so you're probably wondering what i mean by that.. but basically i'm saying that you have to go out there and be ready to make friends. You should approach a guy in a classroom by just saying something about if you guys are in a club together say, "are u going to the meeting blah blah blah" idk, or if its just a random guy, idk talk about something current. If he's wearing a jersey, talk about that team that he is supporting! Well, yea. that's about it. Remeber, theyre just people. You even said that you hang out with the misfit guys or whatev, so just get people to know you in all of the crowds, not just one specific one.

guys generally like girls that they want to sleep with so look for a guy who really diggs u.
and classing your friends as social outcasts is harsh, and not a characteristic that is particuly attractive in a girl

Talk to him normally, but maybe a little flirty. Remember, just because they're a different gender doesn't mean you are two different species. Most guys are really easy to talk to. (try and find out what they like too)

most of us are not really hard to talk to. smile and just be confident. just like how girls like confidence in guys we also like confidence in girls. own the room sort of speak. don't talk to much about yourself ask us what we like and if we say a joke or are trying to be funny lift your head back when you laugh.

guys can be jerks but just join in on their ways... talk and be flirty or like a guy like play games with them in gym class get active good luck!!

hm, well...Most of my friends are guys....
I've noticed they like it when girls play video games, like Halo.
Or when they can have a comprehensible discussion about sports.
They like sarcasm (not too much, or they'll take it the wrong way).
