'cause their mommy never explained to them that it's nasty and that their dumb a@@ should excuse themselves to the restroom to do that.
all boogers aside - ya don't do that nasty a@@ sh!+ at the dinner table. ewwww!
I had a boss once that used to floss his teeth at his desk - that's what the restroom is for, to take care of life's little nasties, don't share that with the rest of us.

Necessity.
Can't really complain about that, would you rather see them draining freely all over the place?
But you're right. There are a lot of slobs out there that seem to take idiotic pride in blowing there noses loudly and obnoxiously. They are good arguments for capital punishment.

i ought to assert it relies upon of what area of the international you're in. In Western Europe for instance it truly is familiar that folk blow their noses on the diner tabel yet they'll many times turn awy from the table and do it as quiet as attainable. in case you eat noticeably spiced nutrition you've gotten to bypass to the restroom very just about each and every 5 minutes to blow your nostril. i imagine you'll capture so a lot more suitable germs by starting the eating position door which includes your bare palms than one in each and every of your associates blowing his or her nostril on the table.

Some people genuinely can't help but blow their nose in public if they have a runny nose, cold or flu. There are far worse habbits to do in public.

Just because this need does not occur for everybody at the same time - otherwise they would all blow their nose all together - how can you suppose that other people eating are as polite as you seem to require ???

Certain foods, particularly Mexican food, make my nose run. I can't run to the restroom each time this happens. I generally swivel on my chair, away from the table, and discreetly dab at my nose with a tissue, while saying, "Excuse me." My feeling is that I'd be more obnoxious if I let it run. What do you think?

i didn't have time it was either suck in into my mouth a noisy way and sorry but that is nastly!
or blow it or watch it drip! on to my food!
and i'm sorry my food is more important then not interupting you for a moment!
but some should just take it to the bathroom! ]

I asked someone this once ( after his friend did it during lunch) and he told me that the friend had no choice. Either that or his nose would run, right in front of us. So, I think I would prefer someone to blow their nose into a napkin rather than give me a bird's eye view of something I don't want to see! Wouldn't you?

Because for some people who have really bad allergies, it's blow it as discreetly as possible or spend 75% of their dinner time in the restroom.

It is first and foremost because it is running and they need to blow it out before it drips onto their meal and to avoid grossing out their date(s).
Or if they do it in a grotesque and blatant manner then they were simply raised without manners.
