I want to get my nipple pierced,?

Question

I wnt to so much, i think it would be so cool, but my mam thinks that my mate was out of line getting hers done without telling her mam and its not nice, i want to get it done soo much. Tell me your thoughts on the good and bad of having it done please?? And whether i should or not?? xx

It's not bad for you. I've had both of mine done twice. It feels like a warm tearing sensation as the needle goes through. It's not a big deal.

Depending on how old you are, and given your mum's current position on the matter, I'd have a conversation with her. Think about why you want your nipples pierced and whether or not you can help her understand your position.

If you're old enough to have it done without parental consent, you really don't have to tell her, but if she finds out, she may have some issues trusting you in the future. It's best to be honest.

Nipple piercings can take a long time to heal and can be sore for quite a while, so take that into account.

Piercings do not keep you from being able to breast feed, don't increase your risk of breast cancer, and don't necessarily mean you're slutty. They don't always have sexual connotations. You can always take them out. Nipple piercings aren't nearly as permanent as tattoos...of course, I also have a full backpiece tattoo and work in corporate America, but that's another story.

I have both done, I like--no I love them.I got both done at the same time. I think that you should do whatever you want, just make sure it's done by a professional. There are chances of something going wrong, but that can be said about anything.

It will hurt, the amount of pain will depend greatly on how well you take pain. Your nipples will become a bit more senstive. You can still breastfeed(if you decide to have kids). Whatever you decide, good luck.

Totally...go with the hot rings through them not the little bars...more fun to play with that way. As long as you are 18 and over you should be proud of your work...if not watch out for your mam havin your rear end...lol

rather painful, though it only last a little while.

I love the look of them on others and to play with them.

my own experience is that I lost a lot of sensitivity after the piercing.

think about the long-term effects and if you want to deal with them. if not done properly, you can lose all sensitivity (some sensitivity is already lost regardless on if they're done right or not.) plus they might cause problems later on when you have kids if you want to breastfeed them. I think it's kinda lame, but think long and hard about it before you get them pierced. Plus my friends who have them says its the worst pain ever experienced...

My cousin got hers done, i went with her and she said it hurt sooo bad. She said it hurt after wards too. When we got to my house she just sat there with her shirt off and looked like she was hating life lol. But if you want to do it go for it. I wouldn't go behind your mom's back though, because she will find out, and wont be happy about it.

I think they are rather sexy but you have to always be mindful as a friend of mine got his caught when he rolled over in bed and ripped it straight out..he let it heal and had it done again no problems since. If you want it , get it!

It was the most excruciating pain. Ever. I have many things pierced and have a tattoo, and that, by far, was the worst.
