Thankyou i asked this question because although i'm a strong person and people come to me with their troubles and i listen and try my best to help (which i dont mind) but they seem to forget that i am only human and at times i also get low but because i'm usually a strong person noone seems to understand it's like they dont want to listen to my troubles you know it's like oh you're the strong one you'll get over it and yeah usually i do but at the time i can feel quite alone, my parents and my grandparents have died

i'm not alone, i have a partner, 4 children, a sister, a brother, nice friends, but when the going gets tough noones interested, i deal with most things on my own, it would just be nice if someone carried me from time to time!

Peachmel, I usually talk with either my wife or I have a couple of real close friends that I can talk with also. Yes I always feel better after a talk and believe the old saying that a problem shared is a problem cut in half.

Well...i have always been alone in life and whenever i feel low or sad i had no one to talk to,to tell my feelings to so i had a very tough time especially in the past and so i can say that my past was very disasturious!Anyways...as i got lil older i found something very blessed in my life and that was God.God came into my life in a very unexpected way but i was very happy that he did.He came and my life started to change...i started to change and so whenever i feel sad or lonely(which i have been all my life)i always think about God and how he will change my life in the near future.God is the only one who has ALWAYS been there for me even in times when no one could have helped me,he had helped me sooo very much and every single minute, every single day i pray and thank him for all that he has done for me.I can never forget all his favors and mercy's on me because it means alot to me.Thank You Jesus!! : )

Depending what your low about, a neutral friend. If your down about a relationship you should talk to the partner about it, but it always makes you feel better to talk to a friend. And if your really feeling low and can't shake it off, maybe talk to a counselor or doctor you know.

Hey if you are feeling alone or just sad call your best friend or someone you can rely on it helps me a lot. If they are really your best friends they will listen to you and help you as much as they can.

when I am feeling low I talk to my best friend. Her and I have been friends for years and she knows me better than anyone else could. She always know how to cheer me and make me laugh.

My husband. And yes, it helps very much. If he's not around, I call my mother or my sister.

my psychotherapist, and yes it does help, it helps because it gives me the opportunity to take apart and analyse things which can mean I am more able to cope with things.
