Yes, because we women know that 90% of the time fiction is better than reality!
(And a book lasts longer)

ABSOLUTELY! Because different from watching a movie, You do not have a actual face to put with the characters in the book so you tend to put yourself in the place of the characters. So everything the men are doing to the woman in the book you imagine it's being done to you, and if you really get into it you get past imagining........you can actually feel it!

I think there is a little truth in that. Women are romantic creatures by nature and most women need to feel loved and cherished. Romance novels, though not real by any means, give women a glimpse of what they would want their husbands to be like........

only if it's by a good writer. if the writer can write well enough to really "put you in the story", then definitely. a good book will make you feel the emotions of the character, which i believe is why romance novels and love stories are so popular.

well you get a good book with well written scenes, you could be somewhere very innocent and be getting turned on and no one would really know......so yeh i guess it's true!
