I'm going to the gym every day, and doing cardio for 30 minutes or more...

I'm eating healthy, like:

A bowl of Total cereals and Orange Juice in the morning

A Fruit Salad for Lunch

A banana and Orange Juice as a snack

And a salad for dinner

Do you think I'll lose any weight/shape up by Christmas?

I'm 17 yrs-old, 5'4, and about 130 lbs.
I've been doing this for like three weeks but don't see any change, is there anything wrong on my diet or exercising???

Thanks...

Even though your choices are healthy, your not getting any protein or anything. You do need to eat meat, but healthy baked or grilled not fried. Also your not considered over weight for your age and height. Keep working out and you should tone up. Another thing, when you excersise you gain weight. Not meaning your getting any fatter but when you build muscle you gain weight. Good luck!!

Are you sure you think you need to lose weight? You don't sound out of proportion to me. In addition to cardio, in order to change your shape, you need to strength train (weights).

More importantly than eating less, is eating enough (but not too much)- and in the right balance. If you go to the weight watcher's website you can get some information on types of foods that are good for weight loss.

Orange juice is good but oranges have a lot of natural sugars. Apples are a good snack. You need some meat (protein) and some grains in that diet.

Instead of a bowl of total, for breakfast I would eat a bowl of oatmeal - the long cooking (5 minute) kind, not the 1 minute or microwave, and apple, and some skim milk.

You also need to drink at least 8 glasses of water a day or you'll dehydrate, especially when exercising.

Good luck to you on this journey! Develop good healthy eating habits now and you'll be good in the long run!

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

Not only is it not enough food, but did you notice that everything you are eating is carbohydrate? You need a lot more protein, or you will have 0 energy and might end up gaining weight. Eat meat or cheese or something that gives a lot of protein. The ideal diet has about 10 grams of carbohydrate for 7 grams of protein. An example meal would be having a cup of strawberries with cottage cheese. Make sure you add protein, it is vital!

You need to eat a little bit more. Your breakfast sounds good, and your lunch is a start. You may want to make that your 'main meal' Try eating some grains and protein with the salad. Add peanut butter to your banana for snack. And a salad is fine for dinner, just make sure you add chic peas, or chicken strips or something to the salad for protein!
Weight training is good also, try for 2x's a week...if your not sure what to do ask someone at your gym and they should show you around.
Good luck!

No, your not eating nearly enough of what you should be eating. Where is your protein???? Where are your grains???

You should eat a bowl of cereal, fruit salad and orange juice as just your breakfast meal.

You are not nearly taking in enough calories , this means they will turn against you and instead of burning off it will just store itself and instead make you gain weight. :)
