Elementary school: Keep it quiet.
Middle School: Ask for his number and call him sometime, or ask a friend of his to tell him that you like him.
High School: Talk to him for a few days as friends (3 to 5 days), then let him know how you feel.
College: Ask for his number and call him. Don't be afraid to ask him to hang out.
