I installed linux kubuntu 7.10 recently, and I don't know how to get onto the internet! is there an icon?

The Konqeror web browser is built-in and it's on the Kicker (Quick Launch bar), just to the right of the Blue KDE icon.

Or, use KDE > Add Programs and get Firefox.

Did you click the Firefox button (globe with a fox wrapped around it) on the bar along the top of the screen?

If you need to connect to the internet, there should an icon by the clock of 2 networked computers. If you click it, you can choose how you want to connect to the internet.
