From what I understand all Glock 22s come with either a 13 or 15 round mag, why did mine come with a 10 round mag?

They come with 15 round magazines. You gun was probably a gun made the 1990's when there a federal law was ineffect restricting non law enforcement mags to 10 rounds max. After the ban expired, manufacturers begain supply hi capacity mags for their semi autos again.

I purchased my Glock in California, and the state has a 10 round limit to the mag size. If it was purchased in CA, then thats why.

I know what you mean--I have a Baretta 9mm which supposedly came with a 15 round clip, however I can only get 10 in it before it is too full to handle any more--actually 10 is enough but why do they use false advertising?
