I'm not sick too often and my mom was never one to buy medicines so I don't know anything about what over the counter medicines to buy..
My chest feels heavy. my head feels heavy. I caugh alittle bit on purpous to clear my throat and it makes me caugh more.
My nose is runny and I'm kinda weak and dizy, but not too bad.
What do you think?

sounds like the beginning of the flu. Get some Zicam nasal swabs, follow package directions. Get some tylenol for fever or aches should they occur. Drink at least two liters of fluid a day, water and tea are best. Get lots of rest, do not go to work or school, keep your illness in your home.

Buy you some Mucinex DM tablets. These use to be sold on prescription only. They are very good for the coughing and will clear your chest. Walmart sells the Equate brand which is 1/3 less than the name brand and cost about $7.99 for 60 tablets. You can take Phenylnephrine 10mg tablets for your head. Equate makes those also. You probably have an upper respiratory infection. Drinks fluids and get rest. If you have a temperature take Tylenol for relief.
The FDA is investigating Zicam because of reports of losing sense of smell after using it. This can be googled for the story.
