I cut potatoes in half lengthwise and place thin sliced onions between the halves and then reassemble and wrap bacon around them. Wrap with foil and bake. Really good tasting. Also wrap water chestnuts and place under the broiler until crisp. Makes a nice appitizer.

My Grandmother use to wrap hamburger patties in bacon, then fry or grill them, and top with cheese..Instant bacon cheeseburgers, and the best you'll ever eat. The bacon flavor gets all into the burger....you'll never eat a plain burger again!

Every Christmas for our Christmas morning buffett, one item we always have is Oysters wrapped in bacon and broiled.
When my grandmother was a newlywed, the place where her husband worked was closing for good right at Christmas. The man couldn't pay his employees so he told them to take whatever they could carry from the store as payment. My grandfather brought home fresh oysters. They had oyster stew, oysters wrapped in bacon, oyster cakes, etc. that my grandmother made. From that year on, she always had the oysters wrapped in bacon at Christmas to remember that very first Christmas they had together. She lived to 101 yrs old. I carry on that tradition with my children and grand-children.

I will wrap asparagus spears in prosuciutto and saute. Excellent.
Of course, filet wrapper in bacon is good.
Hell, just about anything is better with some bacon wrapped around it.

My favorite thing to wrap with bacon is my tongue!
Seriously, though, I love it with potatoes, pork chops, asparagus, seafood, and a million other things.

This may sound weird, but it's so good. One day my boyfriend wrapped hot dogs in cheese, ham and bacon and baked them in the oven. I thought it was gross, BUT they were actually delicious! Another good idea is to add bacon to pigs in a blanket.

I have an appetizer recipe where bacon is wrapped around little smokies, sprinkled with brown sugar, then broiled. Sounds weird, but it is DELICIOUS!
Heart attack on a plate, it should be called.
