Yes they have daylight savings from the 2nd sunday in march to the first sunday in November

HK time is UTC +8 all year-round, like the rest of China. They used to have daylight savings time back in the last century, but they stopped that practice in the mid-70s.

No, my gf is in HK and never once do they push back 1 hour!
