Im doing my art JC this year, and my picked theme was ' a dedicated follower of fashion'
I'm good at art, so I'm aiming for a high grade.
I have all of the pictures I will be painting, but I need ideas for different types of techniques. I already have the obvious ones like paint, coloring pencil and pencil, but I have no idea where to go now. I'm not allowed to use the same technique twice. Any ideas? please

how about decoupage, putting layers on top of layers to create an effect

You can get some great effects with watercolor pencils. Leave part hard edge, some detailed and some not and then take a wet brush and do some special blending in some areas but not all. I've done some fun stuff using this combination using just watercolor pencils.

but I also like doing pallet knife painting also.

Have you tried 'stippling'? A picture is created using only dots and light strokes.

I don't know the name of this tech. but you start with a special paper, completely black the whole sheet, then the picture is created by 'scratching' away the top color in the shape of what you are trying to convey ( the background remains a solid color.)

Try oil pastels or oil bars, you can be really expressive with them. coloured inks or even food colouring is great fun and a bit different, you can even add bleach to some of the colours. Also how about monoprinting. I could go on!!! Good luck.

or how about:
ink
charcoal
pastels
wax?

i how this helps alot and good luck with your art studies:)
