I tried religion and nothing. I tried the ouija and spiritulism and yes you guessed it, nothing. I"m studying astrology and at least there is some evidence there, although not completley.

If there was something after this life or some truth in anything don"t you think we all would know, or is it something we can never imagine, or nothing at all?

I"m trying to find out for myself, and keeping all avenues open but as yet the really ancient things have some evidence. Why is this? So i remain atheist/astrologist interest i think?

How many have tried various things to try and find some proof though?

Keep trying with an open mind. You'll find what you're looking for.

It all depends on your definition of the truth. EVery individual has a different defintion of it and this is why we can't all have the same results.

You can't 'try' a religion. You have to be in it 100%. Maybe you "tried" it for the wrong reasons.. I say you stick to it, be absorbed by it and find yourself first. I hope this helps in your journey :)

And no, since it's the after-life and noone can first hand tell you what goes on there, we can never know! Just accept that and live your life knowing that noone really knows..

Sorry, astrology has been proven to be a total hoax many times, starting with Saint Augustine in the 4th century CE. The basic question is what are you looking for when you say "truth"? Once you know that it may be a bit easier to find.

So what difference does it make to you, if you think there is nothing after we die, if others want to hope in something bigger than themselves. This always gets me about people. They don't believe in God but they don't want anyone else to either. What is it to you? Find a new cause.

On the flip side, what if there is heaven and hell? I guess I would want to be on the safe side and secure a place in eternity if I weren't sure either way. However, I am sure, there is a living Savior, Jesus Christ and he sits at the right hand of the Father waiting for anyone who wants to lay their burdens down on him. Try it, pray earnestly for a sign, I will pray for you to and let me know what happens.

Everyone can experience the truth- which is Jesus Christ- God has placed in us a desire to know Him, however, He has also given us free will, it is your choice if you accept this as truth or not. I noticed you said, "you tried religion and nothing"-
You know something, that statement is so true- religion does not save you, religion is just a set of rules to follow- with Christ it is a relationship- admit you are a sinner, accept Christ as full payment for your sins, and I can tell you that you will experience truth -because when you know the truth it will set you free.

You tried religion? What does that mean? How many? I studied Philosophy & Comparative Religion looking for ideas to make my own answers. That is all we can do. If you gave up on religion it is because you did not find the right one. Join the buffet line. We have thousands of years of people who didn't have Cable TV, Internet, and video games who thought about these things. You should be able to look at what the smartest people in history have thought and come up with your own worldview using their insights.

I'm afraid your astrology will end in heartbreak as well. I recommend astronomy or a real science. I'm not trying to ridicule you or anything, but going the secular way is always a win-win situation since you're studying what we as humans know as fact, instead of superstitious drivel like what you've been looking into.

I promise you there is an afterlife. It can either be peaceful bliss or torment. It depends on what one chooses to do with one's life. I don't "condone" for lack of better wording church hopping but maybe when you tried religion you should have tried a few different churches and maybe you would have experinced something at one of them that would make you realize there is a God. Because I assure you there is. Maybe you should give religion another try and see at different churches what happens!

well, i can say "you are on the right track" so, keep going...(nothing wrong with that) now, listen..in the bible..it is said, "seek and you will find.." (what ever you are looking for) it also speaks this way in differant places too...many of us "have found it" many others have not..we have found because we did not "quit" are you getting this? so, You are on the right track! and, if you don't quit, you will find what you are looking for! a million. Judaism would not bypass out in seek of converts. 2. Judaism would not pontificate to absolutely everyone. 3. Judaism would not have confidence that it is the sole real faith and that the others are incorrect. 3. Judaism believes that all and sundry people who save on with the pathways of the 7 Noahide regulations, no rely what subculture, faith, race, or u . s . a . they are from, they're going to advantage their place in the international to return. by using fact the Noahide regulations are already modern in each subculture and faith and maximum persons save on with them, by using fact of this Judaism has no could desire to bypass out and attempt to transform people to Judaism. there is in basic terms no could desire to do this. it quite is likewise why Judaism would not bypass around asserting it quite is the sole real faith. You form of sound such as you don't be attentive to very plenty approximately Judaism, such as you think of that's in fact the comparable as Christianity. quite each concept in Judaism is pretty plenty the choice of Christianity. No eternal hellfire, no unique Sin, the Jewish Messiah isn't killed for absolutely everyone's sins neither is he absolutely everyone's savior (remember the Noahide regulations are the pathways for all and sundry), Judaism has reincarnation somewhat of eternal burning hell, and on and on and on with the adjustments. And with all those adjustments, the sole component Judaism does with them is attempt to maintain Christianity from imposing their modifications they made to all those issues (and greater), on Jews. EDIT: TO WALTER: attempt studying what Jews have confidence from JEWS, somewhat than from the recent testomony. Jews have an *quite* solid faith in God, in the event that they did not they could have disappeared by utilising now somewhat than outlasting each u . s . a . and faith that has rose up against them to wipe them out, alongside with Christianity. Jews pray to God thrice an afternoon, formally, and say reward to God actually dozens of circumstances an afternoon on each little thing from ingesting to washing their palms to going to the bathing room, to seeing a rainbow or something. they think of approximately God each and all of the time. it somewhat is so plenty greater suitable than could nicely be stated of maximum Christians. be careful what you think from the recent testomony approximately Jews. maximum of that's fairly faulty traditionally and religiously, and intensely unfavorable, slanderous and untrue.
