does anyone believe in them? or is it just people abusing peoples inner feelings/manuipulation? i had mine read today, i did think wow this lady knows what i been through i didnt even tell her.

All of us had a similar question.
It's really hard to know. I think there are some people who can feel something and maybe guess about other people but they are very rare.
Most of these ''fortune tellers'' are just cheaters and they only want your money....
Be careful, I believe real medium won't take money and he or she will use this ability only in extreme situations to help other people.

I read Tarot Cards a little bit. I think that they can give you a better understanding of a situation, but I don't really feel that there is any supernatural cause behind them.
You have to be careful of people who do Tarot Card readings for money. They are generally really good at "reading people" and making you believe what they are saying. The cards can have some very generic meanings and some people use this for to their advantage.

Can tarot tell you your future? I don't think so, can it offer you a useful perspective on your situation? I do think so.
Divination methods are a way for us to step back from our situation and look at it from another perspective. It allows us some fresh insight, but not an automatic solution.
The cards act like a lens "what if THIS were true about your situation?"...and then we take a look at it that way. sometimes that helps us see a new aspect of it.
The cards are general enough that they can offer a useful way to look at nearly anything that is going on in our lives. That is not a "cheat" or cop out, it is what makes them useful, their ability to be applied to nearly any situation.

I think some people are more intuitive than others. Unfortunately, I'm not.
I thought Tarot cards were mostly for your own personal interpretation. IE-You pull out some cards and concentrate on the meaning of them and decide how it fits into your life.

It is basically an elaborate trick...she probably guessed most of those questions or she asked you indirect questions in which she used to sum you up.
People do not have psychic powers...if they did this tarot card lady would've won the lottery or gone to Vegas and win a million dollars at the black jack table.

its the cards themselves that tell the story, the people reading the cards just interpret what the card is if that makes any sense. i have my own tarot deck and it has been pretty right on for me on a lot of things. but i also use mine for meditation not just to get a glimpse into anything. you take what you like from it and use it to help you in your life, dont read too much into it.

I have never had one in person, but there is this website some of my friends showed me called peter's answers. any way, they were trying to show me how it worked and it was really freakin them out, then at the bottom of the page it said it was a "virtual tarot" point is, it wouldnt work on me, it worked on everyone else though. but i believe it didnt mess with me because i am a christian.

Of course you thought that. That's what they want you to think. I'm glad your skeptical enough to question it, because all psychics and tarot card readers are elaborate fakes. She plays off your subtle emotions in order to learn more and more about your background so she can answer things well. She's smart, but conniving and dishonest. Don't waste your money.

they are dangerous. they can tell your past but can't foretell the future. only god can do that. tarot readings open you up to a world of evil that im almost positive your not prepared for. please just let your life happen and guard your soul against the dark forces. get with JESUS he has already defeated the dark forces.

I strongly believe in things like that, but most of the time people are just trying to make a quick buck with them and don't know what they're doing.
