Yes indeed. I am a former secretary of a United Methodist church. EVERYTHING has a method or traditional way of being done. Even the scriptures that the sermon will be based on are provided by the United Methodist to the pastors for the full year. They have the freedom of their method of delivery, but all must teach on the same scriptures. Funerals, weddings, church services, and every other service that I have seen while working there has a standard way of being done.

My mother in law is Methodist and I went to a Christmas sermon. I have never been so angry in my life. These people are so full of hatred and play their hatred off so nonchalantly, like its normal to hate everyone who is not like you.

Originally, yes.
They are not the same church that they were 200 years ago. John Wesley was a great man of God who walked in the power of the spirit, but when religion crept in, the power left.
