Why do people that do not drink insist on being holier than thou and shouting out to the world by answering questions in the BEER

No, but i prefer peas with my swine (heh).

Fruity white wines go better with fruit, in my estimation; dry white wines go well with a full bodied cheese (sharp or smoked Cheddar, Gouda, etc). Red wines are less amicable to cheeses on my palate; again, I'd reach for fruit or even vegetables.

To paraphrase Lily Bollinger...I only ever drink wine when I am happy, or when I am sad, unless of course I am thirsty...
