No, but i prefer peas with my swine (heh).
Fruity white wines go better with fruit, in my estimation; dry white wines go well with a full bodied cheese (sharp or smoked Cheddar, Gouda, etc). Red wines are less amicable to cheeses on my palate; again, I'd reach for fruit or even vegetables.
