Is like leaving a theme park without a pass that lets you come in again in case you don't like it. Once you pass the doors you are talking about, you can't come back. So you better be sure the street out there is a lot better than the theme park you are in. Specially since none of the ones who have left came back to say it's great and they are having a lot of fun on the other side. Maybe because you can't take anything from here or the transcrips to get into another school are just difficult to obtain, or people doesn't speak the language, the other possibility is because Fidel Castro is still here and nobody can tell where is going to go, how about if he ends up going to heaven and you go to heaven?, then the devil in hell is going to start complaining that people from heaving are leaving voluntarily to sneak inside of hell voluntarily without being invited or meet the requirements.

Many people fear death for various reasons.

1) They don't want to leave their loved ones behind.

2) They fear some kind of divine punishment might be
handed out to them.

3) Fear of the unknown.

Again, it depends on one's beliefs. Many people believe it's either Heaven or Hell that's the ultimate fate. Others believe in reincarnation. Others believe that we cease to exist forever...not a comforting thought.
If you're comfortable with non-existence forever, then what's the point of living a few years to begin with? Why continue the species when the end result is nothing? If the Earth were to be destroyed, would the universe miss us?
Seems rather pointless, unless we're here for some divine reason.

People fear death because they have no assurance that it is, indeed, the "door of eternal peace".

Who among us has visited the Spiritual realm recently? For that matter, how many realize that the next inner plane of existence is the Astral plane, and then the next inner plane is the Causal plane, and then one can look forward to five more regions of reality before entering the plane of "eternal Peace"?

When one has not as yet even entered the Astral plane [which you can do by simply closing your eyes and viewing the darkness of the Astral plane...] how in the world can one realistically want to enter this plane of "nothing"? This vast plane of seeming darkness holds great hope for whom?

My point is.... it takes more than simply wishing to gain access to the inner planes to achieve access to them. And where one winds up is another matter... because the Astral plane is also where all the many hells exist. Both heavens and hells exist on the Astral plane of existence. Where one goes depends upon what... precisely?

You see, unless and until ones knows the answers to these very basic questions, one is disinclined to be eager to enter a plane where one can just as easily wind up in hell as heaven. Does this begin to provide you an answer to the question of "fear"?

It's a natural response to death. What's the one thing that we have in common with animals? It's the fear of death; it is the primal fear of all living creatures. The way you describe death, the fear sounds irrational, however, it makes perfect sense, since it is an important survival mechanism. If we didn't fear death, we would probably have gone extinct in the stone age; we would starve and be hunted down by hungry animals because a lot of us wouldn't bother hunting and struggling for survival.

I think it's the door to eternal fertilizer.

I think most people are afraid of death because they are unsure of what will really happen when they die. Religion is a nice comfort blanket, but when the days grow long and the end nears, that blanket can't quite keep the cold out.

I've never been afraid to die nor of death. Death is a natural process just as birth is. In fact I feel strongly that death is only the beginning.

As physical beings we experience ourselves through the choices we make resulting in the preferences we develop. In death, we return to our nonphysical selves and a broader wiser perspective.

It's not the "death" or "afterlife" part I have a problem with...with regard to the "fear" factor...

It's that awful painful helplessly scary mortally shaking "pre-death" scenario I'm afraid of...

And rightfully so...even dyin' in your sleep could not be a "comfortable" experience...

Hi,

Because others do not understand and still very sentimental.
But,
Don't forget, that we can use our pain, problems, and other disabilities to help others understand the truth about God and the teachings of Jesus to better this world for our children and the children of our children. So that they may live a good life that smeared by not learning and following the teachings of God.

That is a very good question but I think that it might be because they are scared to leave their earthly body and what they have stored up here on earth. They are more scared of leaving everything they have received then they are scared of death in itself. But thank God, I am not scared of death because I know that in heaven I will receive more then I could ever dream of getting here on earth!

One, because the "pain" of death or possibility of it. Two, we cannot control death and most likely, we don't know when it's coming. It is also difficult for many people to imagine "life after death." Thank the Lord for, well, him...
