No they are not....people don't realize with the deaths that occur because they have been tazed is not because of the tazer itself, it is the 2 pounds of cocaine in their nose and the case of beer they just drank.

you can always go to the offical tazer website and they have done all sorts of research on it and have posted it on the web.

Physically all of our bodys responses and actions are electrical impulses that are sent through nerves. When you overload any system there will be consequences like over filling a bath tub. You may be able to let most of the water out and be ok but what about the water that ran out on the floor. There are always effects that are not known and may not manifest for years. I don't think that tasers are a good idea if a law enforcement officer can't handle a situation without a tazer they might need to rethink there carrer choice. If they are in a life threatening situation then just shoot the perp and it is over that also saves the tax payers years of housing perps in prison.

Yes, contrary to what the so called "experts" say. If someone had a physical condition, tazers could kill them.No police officer can know this at the time, so potentially, every time a tazer is used, it can be the same as shooting a bullet at a person.

in some cases, a taser was deadly, but like others have said, if you are drunk or have drug in your system, then you have a high risk, but other than that, no its not deadly

Tasers are less deadly than gunshot wounds.

YES, Tasers are deadly and OF COURSE the company that makes them is going to say they are not deadly. Anybody ever heard of BIAS???

"Amnesty International has recorded more than 290 deaths of individuals in the USA and Canada struck by police Tasers."

They may not be deadly but they are unnecessary and should be banned. Cops are just waiting for any excuse to try out their new toy on anyone. They're like a junkie waiting to get that first hit of the day. If cops can have tasers then they shouldn't be allowed to carry guns or batons.

NO
THE TAZER IT SELF IS VITAL AND USEFUL WEAPON TO SUSTAIN AND CONTROL AN OTHERWISE OUT OF CONTROL OR NON COMPLIANT INDIVIDUAL.

THE ONE PROBLEM IS THE VOLTAGE IS DEADLY IF ONE IS WEARING A PACEMAKER. THE ELECTRONIC CHARGE CAN AND HAS KILLED A FEW PEOPLE WHO HAD BEEN WEARING A PACEMAKER.

It's not the vehicle it's the loose nut behind the wheel! If you really think that they can't harm people why don't you stick your hands on a transformer?
