You can be a lead teacher in a daycare and some private preschools, you can be a TA in most schools and title I programs, or you can open your own in home daycare. You may also qualify for some human relation fields but not very many with a two year degree. I am working on my B.S. in Early Childhood Education. Only 6 more classes to go!! Good luck!

There is one job you can get with a associated degree is a teaching job in a head start. With head start you need either a C.D. or A.A. or a B.S. and it can also be a stepping stone into the public school or own your very own daycare.

You can get the jobs other people have stated, but the pay sucks and you get no respect. Trust me, I was a Preschool Teacher for 3 years! I have a bachelors degree so I made more money than the others and I made very little.

You can be a classroom aide in a public school. Check the ads in the paper or call around to a few school district offices. They might be hiring, or you can get your foot in the door by substitute teaching. You will need a copy of your diploma and you will probably have to be fingerprinted.

Depending on the state you can teach up to 3rd grade. Most allow you to teach public pre-k or any one of a thousand dare care centers.
