On Wednesday I had a intense urge to commit suicide. The problem is I don't know how to tell my counselor this. I know it is something that I need to tell her but I don't know how. I sort of want to tell her but I sort of don't want to tell her. I know that it would be the smart thing to do so I don't actually go and kill myself but I don't know how to tell her. I don't want her to report me and then something happen that I don't want. Someone help me! What is the best way to tell her that I had a intense urge to commit suicide? I really need help with this. Someone please help me!!

Has this urged passed? People have suicidal thoughts and do not act upon them.
Tell her that you had these intusive thoughts of wanting to die, yet they have subsided. That is if they have. If you are still feeling these intense urges then you need help right away and to be kept safe from harming yourself.
Please take care of yourself, and be honest about your feelings to your counselor.

I belonged to a depression support group for a while a few yrs ago and at the group sessions (at a hospital), if you told the leader you felt suicidal - she was required to have you admitted to the hospital for testing to make sure you weren't a danger to yourself or anyone else

Is this counselor a school counselor? I really don't know what kind of confidentiality there is for a school counselor, but if you ask them to be discrete they can probably offer you help. If you want help, seek it and don't be ashamed. This link may better help you to keep anonymity and get help. Take care.

Tell her just like you did to a bunch of complete strangers on yahoo answers.
She's a counciller for a reason, she only wants to help you & she can't tell anyone. So just go ahead and do it.
