No. There will always be a way for humans to die. Don't forget accidents. We may live a very long time but our bodies will eventually peter out. Just because we can live to be 100 doesn't cure death. There are people in the Bible who lived hundreds of years but still died.
Find a church in your area that offers good pastoral counseling. Ask for a session with a pastor or counselor.
We are all humans and we fear death because we have no control over it. Find out how to pray and pray that your fear is eased. Christians believe that Jesus Christ was born so that he could die as a human and open the gates of Heaven to us. This is the reason we can have an afterlife when this one is over. If we believe in him then we too can follow his lead.
I choose to believe. It makes sense. Why else should we have all this hoopla in December? What would be the point of making us so intelligent etc.

Right now, nanotechnology has become a popular idea. But nanotechnology only solves half the problem, that of manipulating life on very small scales. The other half, whether there is a patient there to be saved, isn't yet known. Probably it will never be known for all patients in all conditions. We didn't need nanotechnology before to tell us that cryonic suspension was right. We don't need it now, either. It is right to keep people around in suspension because cures for their problems have a way of turning up. We should not let ourselves be turned into fertilizer just because we don't see how we can be fixed. Doing that isn't just wrong, it is absurd. And so, nanotechnology is a proof of cryonics, but in a deeper way. You thought, before, that no possible way could repair frozen people. And now, somebody has come up with a possible way. See, you've just seen it happen: cures for their problems have a way of turning up.

honestly I hate the thought of death, but the harsh truth is...we live to die. Everybody is meant to die and nothing will ever change that. I believe as the years go on their will be better medicines to cure illnesses that cause death but that will only give you more time rather than an actual cure for death.

No. There will never be a cure for death. Why are you afraid of dying? Ask yourself what it is exactly that scares you. Even though I am a Christian and therefore believe that when I die my spirit will leave my body and I will have eternal life in heaven; I was terrified of death. I had this fear all of my life until about 10 yrs ago (i am almost 55) when one day I asked myself why I was afraid to die since I know I will have eternal life after death. I asked God to take this fear from me, and told Him that I believe it was coming from satan. From that point on I have no fear of dying. Think of dying like this: A turtle lives inside a shell, but if the turtle climbed out of his shell and left it behind, he would still live and exist outside the shell. This is true of our bodies as well. Our bodies are simply the shell that we live in. When we die our spirit (we are our spirit...our spirit is us) leaves our body and they lives on in another realm. I truly hope this helps you. God Bless You!

I didn't know that God had access to Yahoo. LOL. Listen... I don't know how old you are but you'll eventually come to the realization that Death is a part of life and if you have any kind of religious faith and any inclination as to the sad state of affairs this earthly world is in you'd realize that in death comes immortal life seated at the right hand of whatever "God" of your choice is. To lesson your fears read the Bible or visit a church.

You need to face your fear.
Even if they come close to finding a "cure" for death, I'm sure it won't be in your lifetime.
Either way, our planet will not live forever, so you'd have to find a cure for death for the planet and the sun.

Why not? Everyone is taking the obvious and pessimistic route in answering this question.
Do not fear...a cure for death is just around the corner. I guarantee it!

No. But keep dreaming. Why would you want a cure for death? It's a part of life. If you didn't want to die, you should've thought about that before you were born, mister!

No, because death and aging are not an illnesses, so there is really nothing to cure.
It can be delayed with leading a healthy lifestyle and good medical care, but that's about it.
