I've washed my hands twice with dish soap, but they are still extremely sticky. What can I use to take this stuff off my skin?

Try Goo Gone. It will take the sticky out of anything. Anything with oil in it will do the trick actually.

There are some good products in auto supply stores, for removing grease etc. when you wash your hands. Those smell terrible, but work well.

I have been using polyurethane for some projects lately, and it is a bit persistent but does wash off with a lot of hot water in the shower.

Time is critical. The longer it sits the worse it will be. "Goof Off" is an excellent choice for second effort after the mineral spirits. I had a similar problem yesterday and got on it with rubbing alcohol because I cold not find some Goof Off, or mineral spirits. It worked.

Minwax is a petroleum based product. You'll need something oily to remove it. Try baby oil, suntan oil, or even vegetable oil. Mineral spririts or turpentine will remove it, but may be drying to your skin or even cause burns or irritation. Good luck. But I have a question... aren't your fingers sticking to the keyboard?

Use Mineral Spirits. That is what is recommended by Minwax for clean-up of brushes. I used it on a couple spots I got on my hands.

Skin-so-Soft, by Avon. Get it at any drug store.

Is as effective as Goo-Gone, but is non-chemical and, of course, leaves your hands soft and smelling nicely !
