His Spirit is in you, you bear his fruit--kindness, gentleness, and goodness. That makes you perfectly suited for God's kingdom work.
May you always be filled with the fruit of your salvation—…for this will bring much glory and praise to God.

Philippians11:11
11May you abound in and be filled with the fruits of righteousness (of right standing with God and right doing) which come through Jesus Christ (the Anointed One), to the honor and praise of God [that His glory may be both manifested and recognized].

Not at all. I will admit that I'm not good at remembering and quoting scripture but you can be a service to God in many ways.
For instance: praying for others, being kind, forgiving, Giving your testimony to non believers and bringing them to Christ.
There is always something one can do to be pleasing to God which in itself is a contribution.

I felt that way, and remember remarking to a co-worker back in 1991 that I felt that I was just a consumer - I have not contributed anything of value to the world.

But that was before God got re-charged back into my life. Now I am married to a wheelchair dependent man who has helped me to feel love and give love. So, my servant's heart has finally floated to the surface, and I feel more whole now than at any other time in my life.

And my hubby is witnessing to my father (who still doesn't know God, after 82 yrs of wandering around 'going thru the motions' of being a god-fearin' man). I have renewed hope in my father's salvation!

Someone Is Somewhere

someone is somewhere
waiting for a friend
to give them a hand
and to understand

somewhere is the street
somewhere is a bridge
somewhere is a car
somewhere is right next door.

if we feel we are going nowhere in life,
it is time to go somewhere and help
that someone who is desperately crying
for our hand.

if we have ten talents or one then we should know what is expected of us. if i have but one, i will use that one to the best of my ability instead of complaining that somebody has nine more than me.

It is simply a deterrent of the enemy to keep us from doing the will of God. We need to be mindful of our calling and break the power of the enemy over our lives, shutting him up so we can do what God wants us to do because soon this opportunity will be past and we will be in heaven leaving the lost behind with no hope.

Jn:9:4: I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.

No I never feel like that. We all have something to contribute to serving God. Just living the truths of God in obedience is a terrific wittness, showing it can be done. Speaking the truths of God without fear or compromise, what a powerful wittness. Just being loving and friendly as we wittness is powerful. We arent to doubt who we are. We have HOly Spirit power within us to do ALl God calls us to do.
We arent fallen sinners, we who are born again. We are called to be overcomers over sin, and be obedient to the Father, just as Jesus was.
Much to give God. and we will look for opportunities to do all He calls us to do.
I like your attitude. God has already given us victory. WE all need to act like it. God bless you......

Sometimes it seems just too easy, sharing the Good News. Sometimes it seems like there is more that I should be doing.
My husband and I have been called to have our own ministry. Sometimes it feels like that is never going to happen.
But, I know that it is all in God's perfect timing. Never late, Never early, Always on time.

Blessings!

We must never allow satan to make us feel unworthy. If we are serving the Lord with a 'true heart' the Blood of Jesus is so powerful and mighty that we are as Isaiah was when the angel touched his lips with a coal from God' Altar.

"Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts. Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar: And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged. Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me" Isaih 6:5-8

"Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to 'present you faultless' before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy," Jude 1:24

To be poor in the eyes of God, it pleased the unfathomable love of his heart. With the abundance of grace showered everyday we do not know where to place it: into our heart or others.

Placed at least one atom of love to mark Jesus heart into hope and the trust will be yours forever. Jesus loves you much, and it is impossible to fail you.

Yes, but I find that is usually the times that I have sin in my life and all I need to do is ask Jesus to restore me and I can continue with His Work that He has for me to do.

Most of us do OUR own work in the guise of God's Work, so yes, I feel I have nothing to contribute.
