It is quite thought-provoking and, I think, possibly true. We judge ourselves often based upon personal comments which others, particularly adults, probably parents, make about us. We tend to believe those judgments, which are likely erroneous, because their sources have power over us, being older than we, thus inspiring our awe of them and our beliefs that they must be correct, seeing us more clearly than we see ourselves. The misconceptions follow us through life, as Eloise Ristad has said, and haunt us, preventing us in some instances from reaching our true potential, when, if we should banish them, our possibilities for success might be limitless!

This sounds like a woman who has been way too judgmental about herself...She needs to lighten up...maybe she could make a more positive quote....poor thing..
I'm going to set in the Sunshine, in my swing, and contemplate my little cat pepper as he plays....and I'm not taking any judges along for the ride.
