Why don't you start by giving us some examples of what you are talking about? You make broad assumptions with no evidence at all to prove what you are saying. You are trying to misdirect people, hoping they will not challenge you. You could be a Liberal Senator.

First, I agree completely! The American right has become filled with hate mongers that believe their way is the only way. They are interested in controlling America and Americans even if that means bending or breaking the Constitution.

However, do you think that the liberal left is much better? Legislating morality, be it conservative views or liberal views is WRONG and not the role of the federal government. The left tends to cater to the minorities and while this doesn’t seam too bad at first glance, the fact is, the government should be impartial and not cater to ANYONE. Illegal immigrants should not be treated like inhuman non-entities, caged, ripped from their lives and tossed over the boarder like the right advocates, then again, they did KNOWINGLY break the law and should have to pay for their crimes...AND CERTAINLY you and I should not be forced by legislation to pay for them and their children to live here. (Welfare, education, etc...) However, I would rather have my tax money go to the illegal aliens then towards wars that we have no intention on winning.

The way I see it, the left and the right are both WRONG. We need balance. You need a balanced diet, you need a balanced emotional state and you need a balanced political view.

I hope this is what you were looking for.

It was Jesus who said, "no greater love has any man than he lay down his life for a friend." Our American soldiers are laying down their lives to secure freedom for the Iraqi people who were killed daily under the cruel dictatorship of Saddam Hussein. The very moment they leave Iraq there will be a blood bath like the world has never seen. It is the presence of America in Iraq that keeps Russia, Syria, Iran and Egypt in tow. Iran wants to move into Iraq and control all of the oil and eventually control Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. More important to Iran than the oil is the annihilation of Israel. Hezbollah and Hamas await this now.

Can anyone imagine Jesus going with abortion?

Can anyone imagine Jesus going with homosexuality?

Can anyone imagine Jesus going with greed?

America is a loving country. We set the Afghan people free from the Taliban. We set the Iraqi people free from Saddam Hussein's dictatorship.

What part of a dictatorship do you love my friend? George Bush is probably one of the most caring and loving Presidents that this country has ever had and you call him full of hatred. The man is doing everything that he can do to save American lives and the lives of Israelites.

I believe I saw greed and self-interest with Bill Clinton. I have not seen this in George Bush. Why are the democrats doing everything that they can do to divide this country?

The Neo-Con Right Wingers use God as a trump card to gain power. They love to wear religion on their sleeve so it appeals to the sheep who think they must follow anybody invoking God and/or Christianity/Israel. But this isn't really any different than any other religion or religious group. The idea of God has always been embraced in order to gain power over the masses. It's a tactic and unfortunately it's a successful one.

Probably take a really good psychiatrist to answer that one, and I'm not sure all republicans are full of hate anyway. But when it comes to the bigotry and hatred of the extreme right, I suspect fear is one of the root causes. Fear of change, fear of others who are 'different' , fear that the shibboleths and myths on which their value systems and lifestyles are based are threatened by new ways ..........all of this can lead to intolerance and hostility as almost an article of faith.
