i cant remimber the dream.why?

last night i saw a dream.ican't remimber it.why?

If we remembered every dream we ever had, we would be coping with several for each night, and it would probably drive us nuts to cope with that much information from all of our dreams in any given night. My own feeling about why we don't remember most of our dreams when we awake, is that we only remember the ones that we need to remember in the morning, and the ones we remember point to issues we need to give more attention to and work out during the day, while the ones we no longer remember represent things like information that has been processed, or issues we finished dealing with while we were asleep, and have no further reason look at them, and file them away with no need to remember them...........
