Part of this can depend on how old you are...My wife & I are in our late 50's and what we like to do can be very different from our children in their middle 20's.

We enjoy taking the different tours...we like the night ghost tour that starts at the voodoo shop; but also the one of the Garden Area; the plantations are fun to go see; and we like some of the night spots that market to my age group.

If you want a real treat for dinner, make reservations at the Commander's Palace...we eat there every time we visit.

Get yourself some hand granades (the drink). They're awsome. Suppposedly made with everclear, but i dont know for sure. Eitherway they do the job!
