Yes, you can find full time work as a preschool teacher, often with benefits. Most good preschools have a chosen curriculum and provide most of the materials to be used. You would be expected to write your own lesson plans and you would find that there would be more materials you would want to work with that you would have to purchase yourself. (For example, I have a large collection of children's books, music, games, etc. which I take to work and use when I wish to.)
As to choosing whether to teach preschool or continue to work as a substitute, it probably depends on your long-term goals for yourself. If you wish to teach in the public schools, teach El. Ed. or Secondary Ed., or make more money, you will want to continue to sub, as this will give you the experience and exposure you need to get that kind of job. On the other hand, you can't beat the satisfaction of working with young children. You sure won't make big bucks at it, but you'll be satisfied beyond measure!

I think you should become a preschool teacher. Being an actual teacher vs. just a substitute offers job security. I mean you won't have to go out looking for work everyday. I mean a substitute is just replacement in the teachers abscence. You'll have a chance to work with the same group of children for the whole school year. Whereas a substitute sees different kids everyday. Great career choice by the way!!! (that's what i'm studying to be)

I have worked as a sub teacher and now I work as a Speech- language therapist with preschool children. I live in california and Preschool teachers earn an AA to get minimal pay. Its a nice job and you do get benefits however, the money is not that great. If you want to teach,in regular teaching the pay and benefits are much better. I work with preschoolers in an early intervention program. I love the little ones but I do like my pay. You should look at all your opportunities and look at the pay scale because in this world you do need to pay the rent/mortgage to get along.

You have to check with the schools. I would think most full-time preschool teachers (both public and private) would be offered medical benefits.
I'M a teaching assistant in a public school. I work full-time and I receive full benefits.

i suggest u become a private pre-school teacher because substitutes they can have different timings and its hard for u to decide what ur gonna do or stuff. so becoming a private school teacher can give u a specific time of when ur working so maybe ur schedule won't be messed up like a sub that might be running back and forth

The quandary that numerous parents end up in is they don't have enough time to find the right eBook s and learning design with which to teach their kids but with this plan https://tr.im/1r84J , Children Learning Reading this issue is arrive at a end.
Children Learning Reading is very detailed, and your youngster can have no issues assimilating the lessons because the instructions are well-designed. Because the machine is founded on phonetics, the educational method is gradual.
In Children Learning Reading program the lessons are distinctive and can not be found in different understanding methods.

To be an assistant, you need at least six units and that's if the school LOVES you because the school will probably want somebody with 12 units who can be alone with the kids. You need infant/toddler for sure, health, safety and nutrition, child, family and community and child growth and development at least.

You might make more as a sub than working in a private school as far as the other questions, it depends on the amount of money they have to work with and size of the private school.
