how funny is it that any christian you find blames everything that goes wrong on satan?
they blame people who try to disprove christianity as worshiping satan
they say pagans worship satan
they say anyone who doesnt believe in their religion worships satan.
you think if they didnt blame EVERY SINGLE THING on satan, that people might take the induviduals, not the religion, more seriously?
and christians, grow up, blaming everything on your satan is like a child blaming everything on his imaginary friend.

They only see in black & white. If it isn't from God then it must be from the Satan.

Actually sin is an archery term, meaning to have missed the mark. Personally as a practitioner of the LHP and a non-theist I find that human being need a bad guy so that we as individuals can keep our good guy badge. If Satan is not the bad guy, then it must be god and if there is no god then it must be those who choose to believe in him. So for an athiest is the christian their devil and scape goat? Personally I think that talking badly about anothers beliefs (no matter how anoying), does nothing for your own.

True...true. How can a person behave *sinfully* by their own accord yet still refuse to take the responsibility for their actions? Are they that weak that they cannot accept personal accountability? IMO Satan was merely created to act as a scapegoat for their own infallacies. Pitiful really.

What I find equally amusing is the way Christians think that those of us that do not follow their religion are somehow still subjected to its dogma. "If you do not believe as we believe you are going to burn in hell." Or "if you do not follow our god's commandments you are sinning." Sin? What sin? As an Atheist, I have my own set of ethics and standards I live my life by. I do not require some deity to tell me what is right and what is wrong. I believe I am smart enough to figure that out on my own.

Totally exasperating.

It's really funny, since Christians are the ONLY ones who believe in Satan, and therefore are the ONLY ones who could be worshiping or working for him. It's also interesting that Christians give their Satan MORE power than their God. IF their God was truly as powerful as they claim, and Satan was as bad as they claim, God could just SMITE Satan and rid Christians of the alleged problem and temptation once and for all. He drowned and slaughtered millions of innocent people - why not rid the world of just one fallen angel, if he's really responsible for evil?

Non-Christians don't need a devil scapegoat. We take responsibility for our own thoughts and actions.

If God is all-powerful, then that means he has control over everything and everyone, including Satan. If he allows Satan to commit evil deeds, then he's not loving or caring. If Satan can do these things against God's will, then God is not all-powerful.

In essence, the idea of Satan all but disproves the idea of God, given the state of the world today.

All people are individuals, as are all Christians. There is one God, Jesus Christ, King of Kings and Lord of Lords!! There is one Satan for all people. Christians don't own him. All people are made by God to worship something. If you are not worshiping God, then you are worshiping Satan either knowingly or unknowingly. Who is your God? The God of money, lust, greed, video games, opinions of others, selfishness, lies, computer, gambling, or sex addictions of all kinds. There is a God. There is a Satan. It's a decision to choose which one we decide to worship and represent by our actions. Jesus Christ is freedom. False Gods and idols lead to a prison of addiction, bad habits and a sometimes deceitful road to hell. Satan may "be disguised as an angel of light," but it's no ones fault but our own if we decide to follow him. Pray for the Spirit of Truth, and the Most Holy Trinity will reveal it.

i am an atheist and therefore refuse to believe that either god or Satan exist and therefore if a christian tells me that when i argue that religious theory is fairy stories then i will go to hell when i don't even believe in such a place- this is ignorance and intolerance in its crudest form. as religions are used to brainwash people from birth which is why if a child grows up without any religious influence in their family they are very likely to believe in atheism.
