Lately i have been having a sore back, and someone told me it could be from drinking tea alot.. i do drink hot tea every morning and evening, is this it?

Yes...if you are drinking it straight out of a forty gallon urn...hell to keep lifting up to your lips!

Too much caffeine can cause kidney problems such as infection, which will give you referred pain being in the back pain. This is providing the pain is in the lower back. Try switching to decaf or for every glass of tea or cup you drink equal amount of water.

Never ever heard anything like that, stop drinking tea for awhile and if the pain is still there well then you know it's something else.

i drink a least 2 gallons of tea a day and i don't have any back problems
