The Chihuahua Weight Chart is great to use as a guideline to estimate a mature weight within a quarter of a pound or so. This table is used only as a guide, as many things can affect the mature weight of a puppy. Weight may vary depending on its bloodline, genetics, how well the animal is fed, etc. Weight estimates before the age of 8 weeks old are often inaccurate because the puppy is still nursing or being weaned and may be heavier due to fat from the mother's rich milk. This weight chart only works with purebred Chihuahuas. The weight chart is from a book called "The Complete Chihuahua Encyclopedia" by Hilary Harmar, Pub. 1972, Arco Publishing Co., Inc.

My little girl is 6 months and ways 3 lbs. I expect her to finish under 4 lbs. Do you know what she weighed at 8 wks? If so, you can take that and multiply it by 4 and get a pretty good idea of where she'll finish out. For example, my male weighed 1.5 lbs at 8 wks and now weighs in at 6 lbs. At 4 months and 3 lbs, I'd expect her to finish it at about 5 to 6 lbs.

If you know how much she weighed at 3 months, a good estimate woukd be twice that weight, or just guessing from her current weight, I would say 5 lb. 30 yr of owning chis, 9+ yr of breeding them.

That is pretty big for a four mo old chihuahua. She will be over six pounds. Usually they just reach three at six or seven months.

Around 3.5-5 pounds. I would say closer to 4 or 4 1/4 pounds though.

Most likely not very much bigger. My Papillon, Louie, was that weight at that age. He's now about 6.5 lbs.
