I have to have three and have heard, some people say it was awful and some say it was nothing, is it the shot itself or the (pressure) from the injection that causes pain?

They should'nt hurt much, I was bugged by the sound more than anything with mine.

Some of my patients say that it really hurt when they had it done. Have you tried all of your options though. Some physiatrists jump right into injections without trying all available options first. If you haven't, you should get checked out by either a chiropractor or a physical therapist before subjecting yourself to something more invasive like a nerve block.
