Sure. We can also thank the Pagans for giving us our names for the days of the week (Sun, Moon, Tyr, Wodin, Thor, Freya, Saturn -- or close to that)

These holidays were put in place to convert pagans into catholics. It was a way of saying okay we can leave your tree as long as we can make it the christ-mas tree
