I've been trying to think of a way to tell to a fellow R&Ser that I've fallen in lust with her, but I don't want to be perceived as an evildoer. What's so bad about it?

Lust can be a spiritual negative, if you are blinded by it, and do not see the other person, for who they really are. Truly, understanding another person is not easy, and finding someone to relate well with, care for, and potentially have a relationship with is even more difficult. One can get in big trouble, when one does not know much about, whom one lusts for, and acts upon it.

Is it me? OHHHHHHH I hope it is me!

Lust leads to wanting leads to action - so they say. Lust is the beginning of bad deeds -- the classic example is David that sent one of his best soldiers and a friend to the front lines of war so that he would die and cover David's affair with his wife.

It's human to experience lust. It doesn't become a sin until you yield to it. Allowing the flesh to control you is a sin and lusting is a fleshly desire. Maybe it isn't so much a matter of falling in lust with her, but more a matter of being interested in her mind. I assume you haven't seen her or know anything more than her words, so you may actually be attracted to her mind and spirit.

In essence, lust is worship of the "creation" rather than the "Creator".

But I will admit, God did make some beautiful stuff!!
