Do not quit them cold turkey!! Listen to Sam1981. If you're going to do it yourself, you have to do it VERY gradually. Good luck to you, Sweetie. :)

Get some Excendrin for the caffeine and asprin content for joint and muscle pain. Also will need Immodium for stomach flu troubles.
Drink broth to keep strength up.
You will have dizzy spells depending on your medication.
Drink lots of green tea. Of course set time aside from work and family to sleep when needed.
Yeah I agree with the people above ween yourself before stopping all together. Then try these steps
I am prescribed all of my medicine for back pain, morphine, hydromorphone, etc. but stop every once in a while to make sure it still hurts and I expect this stuff to happen. It really sucks but builds character. Realize that you will always have the urge to take another pill.

i kind of have the same problem except i didnt make it too far with my detox.. it only lasted 4 hours til i took another pill.

just get rid of all your pills so you dont resort to them if you feel sick. just stay in bed, try to sleep and you will probably get sick but you have to and its normal. its going to take a few days so if you work maybe you should take a couple sick days.. basically if your doing it at home then you just have to have self control and will power. im sure you can do it though.

You need to ween yourself off of them slowly. Start by taking 3/4 of what you normally take for two weeks, then cut that dose down to half of your initial dose for two weeks. Then go down to 1/4 of you initial dose for two weeks. Then take that every other day for 2 weeks. Then, stop all together.
