I watched a program and the people in the audience asked
the politicians some serious questions about immigration and war in the middle east, To my horror they have no notion of the fears of the small man, they ramble on in their usual self rehearsed way making small humour between themselves
do they ever listen to us, they should be brought to account for the damage they have done, their goal is their carreer' not the country, I have not been political minded before
but am really incensed with those selfish idiots

The Labour Party and the rest of government, have mastered mass hypnosis, or the people of this country have become sheep, for after all, we listen, we know, and then bleat about the lies these people deliver.

The problem is that it all starts right on your doorstep new candidates for council, asking for your vote, promising to deliver better services, some of these candidates are already members of secret organisations, or will be recruited if successful, the people within these groups see themselves one step up from the rest of society, and so the pyramid grows.

As the people at the bottom of this pyramid are but slaves, at work to pay the taxes to pay their wages.

Once UK sign the constitution of the UN the pyramid will grow to a higher level than the people will be divided permanently.

With a UN president elected by a UN government that we never elected will dictate new laws at an even greater speed, and what small amount of civil rights we have will diminish.

When the government invade a country based on lies, and at the cost of many lives
surely it is time not only to remove the Labour Party, but to insist for a full public enquiry.

And unfortunately for you Dennis you are just beginning to see the truth, but still for the many ignorance is bliss.

Politicians ramble on in the same impassive way regardless of the subject and they do not stand up for their own particular views. They tow the party line and very rarely these days will any MP deviate from that as they are driven by self interest. Any MP who does have the courage to say what they personally think will soon find themselves in a political wilderness!

Look at new Labour. How can so many, who were once considered left wing, be peddling the current policies

Last nights Question time just showed that unelected Falconer hangs on Browns tail, not long ago it was Blair's.
The same goes for most of them still in Office with Brown. When we do get a good MP the Chief Whip makes sure he toes the Party Line or he will forever stay on the back bench.
Most Politicians are only in it for the money and base their decisions on Career Moves.
Anyone trying to discuss Immigration is labled a Racist.
The best one last night was Galloway what he said about our lads dying for Bush's Wars was very true.
But it must be remembered that Bush has a lot of opposition at home. Not all Americans are War Mongers.

I'm afraid that's how politicians are. You are not the first to ask if they're from this planet either. There is an account somewhere on this planet that has more money in it than you could ever imagine. It's the contents of that account that they are increasing. To what ends I have no idea. I do know that humans have been reduced to creatures that will do 'anything' for money though. I am sure that there must be a limit, and possibly a time when we do reacquire the ability to say no.

I couldn’t agree with you more. Unfortunately most politicians are not “normal” people. They came from wealthy families, went to Ivey League schools, and have never done a day of real work their entire lives. Plus the ones that have are usually easy to buy because they’ve never seen real money, or they’ve been rich for so long they’ve forgotten their background.

If you really want to make a difference, VOTE! Get your friends to vote, and vote for the guy who says the least amount of bullshit. The more your vote, the more they will actually listen. Also sign up for MEGAVOTE on yahoo. It sends you an e-mail every time your local representative votes on something, and explains what it was, and you can actually send them an e-mail/letter if you don’t agree with it. Don’t be afraid to start a letter writing campaign, and to get involved. The more active you are, the more likely you are to make a difference.

If you really want to get active, go to school for journalism and write about it! Keep those guys honest! And if you really want to change things, run for office. Start out on the local level, and work your way up.

They may be from our planet but they don't give a toss about the rest of us. They are only interested in self advancement.

Take no notice of the ones who corrected your grammar as they havent really got a brain between them. Its because of them and people like them that we ended up stuck with New Labour at all.

As for English politicians ... no comment (I don't want criticize other countries men of power: you know: diplomacy quarrels can lead to wars).

The only thing I can say is that they are Bri (u?)t (e)s.
Forgive my pun but in OED I find that brutish can be a possible form for british and I went on with my imagination on the track of the pun.

ImageLA County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich has announced that a new report shows illegal aliens and their families in Los Angeles County collected over $35 million in welfare and food stamp allocations in July.

In the report, illegals are said to have collected nearly $20 million in welfare assistance for July 2007 and an additional $15 million in monthly food stamp allocations for an estimated annual cost of $440 million.
“Illegal immigration continues to have a devastating impact on Los Angeles County taxpayers,”said Antonovich. “In addition to $220 million for public safety and $400 million for healthcare, the $440 million in welfare allocations bring the total cost to County taxpayers that exceeds $1 billion a year -- this does not include the skyrocketing cost of education.”

You may be on to something. Maybe they aren't from here. Maybe they are the *real* illegal aliens. And yes, it's pretty sickening to listen to their rhetoric, but it's the system we're stuck with, and it's still better than many others around the world. Since it isn't going to change itself, the best we can do is try to change it from within. Wade through the garbage they're trying to sell us, listen to the crap they're trying to feed us, and try to figure out who's the least dangerous. Then VOTE for that person and hope for the best.
