Where's the need to be rational when you can lose yourself contemplating a never ending spiral of unanswerable spiritual conundrums.

confusion is at the level of mind. The soul, which is always connected to the eternal source has all answers.
Confusion could indicate that an individual is not connected to his inner self. All he/she needs to do is try to silence the mind, and try to connect to the inner self, and wait for the answer to surface
