Yes.
They can follow along behind you and 'pace' your speed and it is legal as police vehicle speedometers are calibrated from the factory and rechecked at least annually.
Also, if they have on board radar, they can have it turned on and then again 'pace' you and look at their vehicle speed and that will also be your speed.
We are trained in these techniques and it is all court admissible as a valid speeding ticket charge.

Absolutely. If they are following you, they can 'pace' you without radar. This means they follow you for a fair distance and monitor a consistent speed on their speedometer.
The radar units out there now can clock you while both vehicles are in motion. There are 2 displays on the radar unit. One is for patrol (the squad) speed, and the other is for the 'target' vehicle, which is the vehicle you are clocking. It is much simpler to do and operate than you may think.

definite. yet did you ask how he clocked you? Did you ask to ensure the Radar (Vascar, clock and so on.)? Did you ask him why he did not coach it to you? per chance he did not get a lock on you, or he would have clocked the incorrect vehicle. In any experience, he would were incorrect, noticeably after he made such an glaring clerical mistake. in the experience that they don't amend it, you need to even bypass for a dismissal in accordance with that. Assuming you do not have a "putting decide" i ought to assert you've a sturdy shot at getting out of it. do exactly not mean the cop is a liar. in simple terms that you probably did not imagine you've been speeding and he would have made a mistake. you need to truly have the skill to get the cop to admit he would were incorrect, or the DA to throw it out or cut back it. I honestly have.

Yes. The worst one I saw was in Florida, where the unit was mounted in the rear window and clocked you when you approached a moving police vehicle. Cop was real nice and explained the system to me and let me slide with a warning.

Yes.
The radar they use "knows" what speed the cop car is doing and can make the appropriate adjustments to calculate the speed of the target car.

Yeah. Either they have a device that automatically adjusts the radar to their speed, or they just add the amount form the radar to their speed.

If there is two cops in a car they both can agree if your speeding, however if theres one cop they cant as he needs to have a witness as such.
However theys days they have the technology etc to conduct there duties.
