The breeder I work for has a litter of only 2 right now and we pretty much just let them out of the puppy room every so often a day and we go in there and close the puppy gate behind up so they are not getting in the way then we clean up in there and we come out shut the gate behind us and watch them and let them play then right when we see a mess we go clean it right away. Then when it is warm out they go outside and in one of the runs as we clean the other runs then they come back in and go in there room to eat and mess in there more lol. Kay has wood floors so it is not hard to clean off. They are out of the whelping box so we have that standing up agenst the wall so the pups can still sleep under the heat lamp lol, they love it!.

We had a litter of 13 years ago....you can imagine the mess! We used a kiddy pool and newspaper- but shred the paper into strips- it works a bit more like kitty litter, keeps them from getting quite so much poo all over themselves. Change the paper a couple of times a day, when the pool gets nasty, take it outside and hose it off.

Go to a thrift store and buy some old blankets and sheets and throw them out when they are soiled. Put down newspaper in other areas and use a mop designated for that area only for clean-up.

Sorry you have to clean a lot. Puppies are not clean by nature and at 3 weeks have NO idea they are wandering around in their own filth. Hopefully their dam is cleaning them as well as feeding them.
The best option is the one you have...keeping them on a tile surface that shouldn't take too long to mop up.

pass them to a bigger container, at 3 weeks mom could desire to nevertheless be cleansing up after them, besides line the container with newspaper then shred some on proper of that, the poop will extra or much less be wrapped up in the shredded paper assisting shop the doggies cleanser. you additionally can get some babywipes to wipe them down with, i does not bathe them at 3 weeks, they are able to and gets chilled.

The lady I bought my puppies from were on old towels and news paper. I think newspaper is the way to go and just pad it underneath with rag towels.

Loads and loads of newspaper. That way you can just take it up as soon as its soiled. Mine move out to an outdoor kennel when they are 3 weeks old and we use sawdust out there. We can just pick up the poo and wet patches easily then.

I use new paper it's easily picked up and I have also found that it's easier to paper train them. by putting them on carpet it trains them to do any pottying on teh carpet and the same with tile.
I have bathed my pups at this age as well and then use a damp wash cloth to try to keep them clean.
