they don't use the word illegal as they know that the honesty of the term will cause more opposition to an amnesty. it is a more accurate description and distinguishes between those who violate the law to come here and those who go through the proper process to enter the U.S. their hope is that by using other terms undocumented and just immigrant that they can confuse the issue and distance the criminal/illegal from the criminal /illegal act of entering the U.S. in violation of our immigration laws. it hasn't worked so far as about 99.99% of U.S. citizens oppose illegals anyway.

How horrible ! The illegal aliens are criminals !
Well, adolf, don't go back to Germany. They might hang you there. Your Nazi party is forbidden.
By the way, did you have your vaccines against rabies ?
On second thoughts, you are right. When the Europeans came to the USA, they were illegal immigrants indeed ( I really doubt that any of them had a visa from the Native Americans ) and they were really criminals.
They seized the lands, almost exterminated the Native Americans, made them live in ghettos called reservations, and treated them like ferocious beasts.
According to you, all descendants of Europeans should be sent back to Europe, deported.
I agree

The term illegal aliens is used in almost all the countries of the world. The local political groups don't use that word because it would clearly tell us who they plan to give our taxes too... and that could be the basis for a lot.. a lot, of trouble.

Yes, migration is a movement of anything that travels. But the PC don't need to keep calling illegal aliens immigrants because of a law or laws that these illegals have broken to come here or stay here. Illegal is illegal.

m·mi·grant /ËɪmɪgrÉnt/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[im-i-gruhnt] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation
–noun
1. a person who migrates to another country, usually for permanent residence.
So, Immigrant is also a correct term. IT is someone that takes up permanent residence somewhere. The word has nothing to do with status. That is why it is usually paired with "illegal or undocumented".

Why do the anti's insist that the only name suitable for them is illegal? You could say undocumented, out of status, whatever, it all means the same thing, yet if it does not have the word illegal in bold print it is not spelled out clear enough for you.

Because those sophmoric bleeding hearts think they should be here. They don't know the real implications of what this is doing to the country, they just follow the bandwagon. Whatever sounds good to them, they follow. They can't call a spade a spade.

It's not a question of it being politically correct. Immigrant, by definition, is the correct term to use when someone moves from one place into another, legal or not.
Do yourself a favor and buy a dictionary. Then no one can accuse you of being ignorant.

They might not be legal, but they are still human. There is no need to be mean. Most of them are also quite desperate. Most people would do whatever was necessary when it comes to the lives and well-being of their families. I do not mean to say that it is okay for them to do that, but we should not look upon them as subhuman for this action.
