I'm sure it's not Texan

Sounds like the American accent from the deep south (somewhere like Mississippi, Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, Missouri, Louisiana or Georgia).

But what do I know? I'm a Brit!

Southern USA. For sure. But I'm leaning toward Texas having spoke to countless Texans at an airline to get my luggage back over months of time. Also, notice how his accent sounds a lot like George Bush's, who is a Texan.
