Some code. I'm not aware. Could be for just the company.
To keep track of their product.

Update your print drivers. PCL errors are associated with printer not being able to understand what it's recieving.

Wild guess, it's not an Excel problem, it's most likely your Printer.
Get the latest drivers from the Printer Manufacturer's website.

Looks like it has to do with corrupt data.
This HP tech support site lists a very similar error...
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/site/search/r4_0/jsp/search.jsp?locale=en&tx=pcl%20errors&refresh=true
*Note: the third entry on the list dated 23 Jan. 2007-
Hope it helps...

Usually it means that something that you're printing is not understood by the Printer. What kind of printer are you using and what driver?

It appears your not the only one having this problem. It looks like it may be caused by auto updates from Windows or your computer maker. (Is either the computer or printer made by HP? Both? My HP is always trying to update my system, whether it needs it or not.) Or it may be caused by a corrupt or outdated driver.
Check this forum and see if their advice helps.

Otherwise, see if you can look up the tech support forum or email address for your computer and/or printer.
Good luck!
