I mean, seriously, what's the appeal?
Tearing people down?
Showing us that a lot of you are haters and are arrogant?
If it's evolution you want to discuss, then why NOT the bio section? They could use some company.
I'm not saying atheists or other should be banned, but what is the appeal? The only people who ask actual religion questions about their faiths are Christians, Muslims, Jews, etc. Atheists just ask each other, "Why do they believe this, why do they believe that. . ." It's sime, it's called FAITH.
No, I DON'T have proof of God, except his creation.

And what's sad is that you all come back with some smart a s s answer.
Is that all you're good for; arrogant answers? Are you blind to you own flaws, because I know mine.

What laws? This isn't a theocracy.
You can have all the sodomy, abortions, whatever you want. WE don't live in Saudi Arabia.

Since atheists believe in evolution, then why can't they back it up with sources and facts?

Even if we only ask "Why do they believe this/that?" it's still valid questioning for a religion and spirituality category as that's what the question would pertain to.

Considering you answered your own question, why did you bother to ask this?

Actually, I've seen plenty of questions from Atheists that are really good questions. Most people just take it as an attack because it's coming from an Atheist. And they get attacked by arrogant haters too. Let's not be one-sided about this. There are Christians here who do nothing more than tear down Non-Christians. So what is the appeal for them? Other than to show many of us Non-Christians that "Christians" are just as much a "part of this world" as we are...

Your faith and you looking at Creation is proof for you... but it is not Proof for everyone. I believe in many Gods and Goddess' and can just as easily say mine created everything. Does that prove mine did and your's didn't? No. So it can't be used as actual Proof. It just supports your own Faith.

This is an open forum--anyone who wishes to may participate. Often atheists ask sincere questions because they are trying to understand why we believe what we believe. I've had a good many interactions with some of the Regulars who are atheists & they are respectful & kind to me because I'm that way with them. You get back what you put out, most of the time. Some of the "Christians" in here make me cringe with their arrogance & disrespect toward others. You can tell the truth in a respectful manner & people will respect you. Build people up, don't tear them down.

This question was asked yesterday, and the day before and probably the day before, day before that etc etc etc. Why do people constantly feel the need to keep asking this?

Why do you come here? Because you are interested, because you want a debate, because you want questions answered etc. Do you really have such a hard time understanding that?

By the way, proof of god is not his creation, prove it was 'god' that created?

arrogance certainly isnt one of them-and look you have won the big drink award also-chug chug-seriously-do you think that any believe here that you really want an answer-one lady gave you over 25 thousand questions that were all the same and answered and did you go look or did you sit here and pass judgement on others-the love of christ is shining through you
excuse me-23986 not over 25 thousand

You mean to tell me that you have never seen any of the thousands of questions posted by Christians about evolution on R&S? You are being disingenuous. And you really ought to do something about your anger; it's unhealthy.

I will never, ever, as long as I live accept something without asking why. Especially something as "important" as religion. Don't take pride in following blindly or condemn people for seeking answers.

Because religion keeps on trying to mess with my life, and the lives of those around me.

Just stop the interference in laws, politics, medicine, science, reproduction, education, sexuality and war, and I'll say no more about it.

I come here for entertainment above all..

and maybe to meet some good people with views like mine, and nice people who have differing views...

I find it interesting......

your question is kind of like asking guys "why do you watch football?" "i mean, it's not like you play the game..."

and not all atheists are biologists, some of us are amateur philosophers, and many of us have studied religion at length...

occasionally i'll throw someone some "food for thought" and encourage critical thinking...

To keep you from telling people about our baby-eating, orgy-having, money-grubbing plans to takeover the world. Obviously.

(Oh, the irony, asking why we're here in the R&S section... In the R&S section.)
