hi i remember a NO MORE NAILS advert where they stick the chair to the wall to show how strong the glue is, is it actually possible to do this?

no its OK in certain applications but it isn't that strong, grip fill is better

I had a basement with cement walls and wanted to put up good storage shelves. I hung 4 2x4's to the wall using Liquid Nails and then put the brackets for the shelves into them.

Liquid Nails. Best glue I"ve ever found.

You can actually do this with Locktite, it gives THE fastest grab of any product I've ever used. If you are adhering something really heavy, you do have to hold it or clamp it for a few minutes, but it really does work on just about everything, fast.

Doubt it,it wouldnt even stick my bl@@@y skirting board to the wall.
