However, apparently the asker has blocked me and now I don't get the chance to read the full question nor read any of the information others shared in their answers. How can I learn new things from people who have different views from me if they won't allow me to even read what they have to say, let alone what the people answering them have to say?

For what its worth, I have exactly ONE person blocked and that was for repeated emails with too much graphic sexual nastiness for me to deal with.. plus I didn't like my mailbox being filled..

This was the question:

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=ApfZcoCadLcVTed12HQ_ETrsy6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20071026051136AADwiOY&show=7#profile-info-38ehv8ENaa

It asked about showing mixed breeds in conformation. Apparently the dogs have to be altered to enter.. so THAT is good!

Hi everyone,

I too have noticed that a particular questioner will block anyone who doesn't agree with their personal opinion (for ex. breeding methods). I am not surprised at all. Please know I am writing this without judgement and this is my own opinion.

Animal Artwork, I do completely understand your point of wanting to learn more by reading through other answers and opinions. I like to do the same.

Personally, I believe we should all ignore questions from a certain member. You will notice I do not answer any of this persons questions. That is what the member wants. By answering, you are adding fuel to the fire and the person is getting what they wants.

Furthermore, if this member emails anyone, I would say don't reply. Again, that is what that particular member wants and waits for. They like confrontation and enjoy talking back. No matter how rude or cruel the email, ignore it. You could save it, but ignore it.

Unfortunately and fortunately this forum is full of opinions (ones we agree with and ones we do not), so everyone is allowed to state their own opinion, just like in "real" life.

While some people may not agree, people should be mature enough and respectful enough to appreciate someone talking the time to answer their question. Regardless if the questioner does not agree. A question should not be asked to see how many members agree with your own methods, a question should be asked because you want to hear what *everyone* has to say, you wish to learn something new.

That is the beauty of YA... people of all different backrounds, different experiences, different beliefs, different opinions can all come together and try to learn something new. Some of our opinions will change, some of our will not. But we should all act like adults and agree to disagree.

I believe everyone needs to start treating others how you wish to be treated.

It's amazing. I'm blocked by a couple of people who claim to be "educators" in the Dog category. But how can anyone educate if they are not willing nor able to LEARN themselves?

Blocking people simply because their opinion differs from yours is like an ostrich sticking its head in the sand. It's also as immature as covering your ears and singing "Mary Had a Little Lamb" over and over again when you don't want to hear something.

each dogs i've got had has been an training and given me greater perception and appreciation for the species. They no longer in uncomplicated terms have taught me the thank you to be a greater suitable proprietor yet have taught me existence training; staying power, unconditional love, regulations/barriers are necessary and not merciless and the thank you to handle a challenge and then flow on. The record is going on and on. Rescuing is a huge factor. one in all my dogs is a "particular desires" case. My nearby defend rescued her from a extreme kill defend. I surely have faith that had I no longer observed her she could have been the two placed down or lived maximum of her existence in the defend. I tear up on the assumption-approximately it by way of fact she is the sweetest little factor. I additionally desperate to furnish lower back and help out a team in my section that rescues litters upon litters of puppies from everywhere in the country - as a rule the South. maximum of shelters can not even shield the dogs they already have and while a muddle of puppies is obtainable in the "out with the previous, in with the hot" saying is going into effect.

Ah yes, the amazingness of the maturity on here. It's just incredible that people claim that they want to Educate and not Judge, but when you give them an answer which runs perpindicular to their current view, they block you. So what happened to not Judging? What happened to Educating in it's place? Wouldn't you think they'd see that as an opportunity to correct those with opposing views, give a healthy rebuttal, refute the "ignorance" of others? Nope. Just... block and bam! BA to the person who parallelled them.

Some people just can't handle the unique spirits of the individuals on here...

Sadly I too was blocked. I made no mention of her or her views on anything just because she disagreed with what I said. It was surprising to me because I thought I was pretty non judge mental in my answer. I just stated my opinion.
I have a few people blocked myself because of ugly e-mails and some are just annoying.
I read her question and found it mildly interesting. I would not have responded to it anyway.
Seems that to some it's my way or the high way. So I'm on Rt. 66 thank-you very much!

Certain people keep blocking others claiming they are being given rude answers. I am sure some are, but what theya re doing is blocking EVERYONE that does not agree with them!!!!! That way, unsuspecting people will not see any opinions that vary from theirs.
Makes a lot of sense to come on a forum like this and block ANYONE that does not agree with you huh!!!!!!!

Funnier still is that she BLOCKS you and then posts her rant about you!!! So, it is not for your benefit, it is for all the others!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was blocked for ANSWERING that question.

The asker can't handle opinions that don't agree with hers.

Of course, I just sign in under a different identity and I can still read it......and her hysterical rant to me.

Good lord, lady, get a grip!

Sitting on my couch, eating out popcorn (out of my holiday, er I mean Howl-o-ween bowl) trying to figure out what everyone one is talking about.

I'm not blocked by anyone.

When you find out what the fuss is about, will you post it here? I don't even know where to look for this question of which you speak.
