Why feel sorry, they do give as good as they get. I don't
see the point in picking on anyone but some will always
do it. Hey, someone asked, can someone explain this
goof in the Bible and I asked him why he was so
concerned if he didn't believe. He then gave me a
lecture about I assumed he was an atheist. I never
actually said that. He said I shame my God and my
religion because I am turning people away who want
to know. He said God will look down on me. Well,
Christians get accused alot of shoving it down
peoples throats. Anyway, he has absolutely no
clue what God will say to me. People judge on
R&S more than anywhere else. Also, why do Some
and I mean Some, (not all Christians) ask questions
on here, tricky questions and they don't say they are
a Christian? It is like they are judging their own to
see what they say.
Oh yeah, Thumbs down. There are more thumbs down on
R&S than anywhere else. So Long.

Thanks for the sympathies, but this goes on all the time. Of course, there's the Christian-bashing and Muslim-bashing on occasion too. And of course they all bash the pagans and Wiccans when their questions come up.

This can be a fun place though, if you learn to not have an emotional attachment to everything. My only real complaint is that it feels like the same 5 "questions" coming up everyday, the most popular probably being "Why are atheists here?" (which again, I answer just about every day).

It's Pick On Christian Day too, there are some of each doing it to each other. I don't understand why they like doing it. I thought one reason- bored with themselves and got thumbs down on a post so I don't know the reason why some like to do it.
Some people like to lump Christians all the same- note on
here even. Anyway, it's nothing new here at R&S which is
why I do not visit it often. I'd rather visit P&S and laugh.
Edit- There's a big difference in asking each other questions
like, how come you believe this to- don't you know you're
stupid to believe or don't you know you're stupid if you don't believe? People have been called ignorant and stupid
here. Or why don't you Christians or Atheists just shut up?
I made a bet after I mentioned I got thumbs down, someone
would thumbs me down. I'd rather laugh than pick on people
any day as that is how I like to spend my life- laughing
and having a good time. There are always going to be
people who prefer to pick on others. C'Ya.

EVERY day is "Pick on Atheist Day." The religious have run society for all of human history.

Even the USSR, which had appointed orthodox priests in an allegedly "atheist" state. And when they abandoned Lenin's politics and went to Stalinism, that opened the door for worship of an individual.

So with the experiences of all of human history, we're used to getting picked on. At least they're not stoning us or burning us at the stake right now.

Thanks for the sympathy. We don't need it to survive, but it feels good to get it.

In my book, you deserve a star. Too many feel the need to impose their free will on someone else. Thank you for being one of the few that recognizes that bashing people only pushes them away.

We are in awe of her insightuflness, her vision, her eloquence. She fairly judges all issues without regard to party or personal allegiance and his compassion and desire to listen and weigh all sides of an issue is an inspiration. A paragon, nearly a saint.....

Thanks for the gesture, that's very kind. But honestly, an evangelical christian trying to "bash" an atheist is about as effective as a bug flying into the windshield of a speeding Oldsmobile.
That's why they've traditionally had to organize into pitchfork-wielding mobs to get us.

It's funny that you should ask this. I've spent most of this morning inadvertently tormenting an atheist.

And to him I offer my most humble apologies. He knows who he is.
