can you explain it? and no they are not the same... so that is not the answer... so don't bother posting it....

actually if you see the truth they are in opposition of each other.... god ... the original opposer of truth , human spiritist, manipulater of the spirit and the information carried through it.... jesus the one meant to bring information that will destroy the religion ... the goal murder the man before he could bring his information to the public...

Now the bible is written through prophecy... and the messages stubornly controled by the one called Satan the devil. who lives 2000 yrs in our history... who has been able to serve himself using the catholic religion... by reading prophecy of who would defeat him... and getting the religion to destroy his enemies... that is where the burning of the heretics, crusades and inquisitions come in... the prophecy of Jesus is to do the same but he comes up with problems seeing that he can't defeat this one... that is to occur in our days..

Christ... is the group of other men who would join this original betrayer.. on condition that they could stop the information for nature can inspire and the prophecies were found to innuermal to defeat... so the men joining forces wanting also to be called god... the original one controls the oldest stream of information.. the others begin their own religions... that is the answer to why there is so many christians sects... each one called the false gods, false religions... each one having to work with int the limitations set out by the original... that is why ther is common stories althoug ruled by other MEN. humans. So the christ or christs.. come to be called the body of christ... work at turning the spritually powerful against the greater good of the human race... what they cannot defeat is the one refered to as THE WOMAN OF THE WILDERNESS... and she is the one who would protect the man who is prophecied to give the human race the information to break the hold of all relgions

Now the purpose of the "christs" is to get others to follow this plan apparently leading to eternal life. Not for everyone just for those who would be called spiritually able, and they seek out this man to have him help in the destruction of the woman. but he does not budge, he does not condemn her. That is why he is propehcied to die. The woman is a far greater power and formitable opponent than the men who either call themsleves god or christ could imagine. when they begin to speak of the bride of christ.. that is when they begin to lose control of the information. She restores the balance of nature.. a lot of this is yet to come. The man will give onto the earth the information.. the truth behind religions. (similar as to some of the things I write here) forfilling a true prophecy despite the evil ones knowing of it before the participants. the woman sees the human race as weak stupid. she calls them betrayers of nature. She gives to him the knowlege to share.

What humans do with the information is the defining path of the future of the human race. those who would die for the betrayers will die. those practicing religion will be cursed. She is so powerful that she is the inspiration behind 80% of all the female gods ever heard of... and she is so serious about no relgion that is why there is none about her... it's a fantastic story... she is to give all information to the man ... I got to meet both of them... and their lives are in danger because of the influence of the one who calls himself god and the ones calling themselve christ... for their ability to manipulate the human race is scarry... She explains her work "spiritually speaking" with John Lennon... and makes it known that the man who killed him considered him an idol until he went to a bible camp.. and came out a murderer... So anyone bound by a religion becomes a prospective murder of the two people who would give truth to the world...

here's hoping they succeed..

The kingdom of heaven is at hand, peace be unto you.

After reading your details, I have edited my original answer,
You are not far from the truth. The whole world has been deceived by Satan, but it is not the woman clothed with sun. that has deceived us she is not a beast, she is Eve.

Right to the point, the man deceived by Satan is Moses. Do you know about Moses and the miracles he perform ? The 10 plagues, turning his staff into a serpent, turning the Nile to blood, making water come from a rock, making fire come down from heaven, parting the red sea, and making and image of a serpent and telling his people that those who look at would live and those that would not look at it would die.

This Moses is found in Revelation 13:10-18,
John 3:14 and John 6:32

Forty and two months is found in Matthew 1:17
14+14+14 =42

Remember Mary for she anointed Jesus at the hour of His death.

In Greek, Christ is "The Annointed One."
In Hebrew, Christ is transliterated as " The Messiah."

"Christ" refers to the Messiah that the Israelites have searched for. The Israelites rejected Jesus as the Messiah, and had Him, through Pontius Pilate, crucified for claiming to be equal with God.

Jesus is the name of a man, born in Bethlehem of a virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life. He claimed to be the only Son of God. He was a great teacher, garnering the respect of many. He performed numerous miracles. He was cricified. Three days later, He appeared again to many people, before once again ascending into heaven.

Today, Christians hold Jesus as the Christ. Hence, His name and title have become His de facto name: Jesus Christ. He is Lord, and one with God the Father.

Jesus is a character in the Bible. Christ is a title, synonymous with "Messiah." The reference to "Jesus, the Christ" was eventually shortened to "Jesus Christ" but it is not his last name and the two words are not synonymous.

And are we just a little testy towards "bible studiers," Miss Know-It-All? The "and no they are not the same ... so that is not the answer ... so don't bother posting it ..." is rude and offensive! Get the chip off your shoulder. At the risk of not getting a "Best Answer" on this one, "bible studiers" everywhere are awaiting your apology.

The Jesus who is the Christ was the one who held the 'station' of being the Christ. It wasn't his last name! lol

Here is a breakdown of Christ according to the Biblical Greek:
Strong's Number: 5547
Christos
adjective
Definition
Christ = "anointed"

1. Christ was the Messiah, the Son of God
2. anointed

from (5548)
Chrio
verb
to anoint

1. consecrating Jesus to the Messianic office, and furnishing him with the necessary powers for its administration
2. enduing Christians with the gifts of the Holy Spirit

Jesus is the person. The "Christ" is actually an adjective - the description of who he is.

It is my understanding that the Christ was the savior that was prophecised to come. And Jesus fulfilled that prophecy. So Jesus is the Christ.

What you are saying is kind of like there is a clear difference between George Bush and the President. One is a title and one is the person carrying that title.

What do YOU say?

Matthew 26:62-64 (New International Version)
New International Version (NIV)
Copyright © 1973, 1978, 1984 by International Bible Society

62Then the high priest stood up and said to Jesus, "Are you not going to answer? What is this testimony that these men are bringing against you?" 63But Jesus remained silent.
The high priest said to him, "I charge you under oath by the living God: Tell us if you are the Christ,[a] the Son of God."

64"Yes, it is as you say," Jesus replied. "But I say to all of you: In the future you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven."

Any other questions?

If you are a believer it doesn't matter as long as you accept the Lord and take him into your heart. It is the age of grace and those that believe will be in Heaven with Him. I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. And I am happy to do that everyday and I thank Him for my life.

Sorry, but when you say Jesus, you think Christ. As in, Christ Jesus. I don't get why people think God is Jesus, which is totally off the charts.
There is no difference between the two, as they are both the same. I love Christ. I love Jesus. I'm basically saying that I love the same man twice.
